Where do I even begin? When Chris and Jen told me that they wanted me to travel to Mexico with them to capture their wedding I was beyond elated. First of all they are simply fantastic people: both easy going, fun and athletic, my type of couple! Second of all, knowing that they liked my work enough to bring me with them was amazing and very humbling. This was the first time shooting in such a different environment than I am used to, so many elements to consider: sun, heat, humidity, wind, sand, many things we really do not experience up here, or at least not to such extremes. Was it the most challenging shooting I have ever done? YES. Was it also the funnest wedding I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing? YES!!
Their day was absolutely wonderful, all of the details came together so perfectly, everyone looked incredible and fit right in to the tropical setting. The thing I love about destination weddings is how emotional they are. Everyone has travelled so far to be there to show their support, and you know if they came that far they have a ton of love for the couple, and it shows so much! There were so many laughs and tears of joy on this day, it was just fantastic. From Jen’s amazing mom, the hilarious groomsmen, incredibly sweet bridesmaids, and Chris’s very entertaining Uncles, it was all so much fun to be around. And of course Chris and Jen, two of the sweetest people you could ever want to meet, best friends, so in love, and completely perfect for one another.
Chris and Jen - I hope the rest of your honeymoon was fanstastic (I know you had more than enough sunscreen to get through the week ;). Enjoy your sneak peek, it was absolutely my honor to be there with you, thank-you so much again for having me along!
xoxo

And because it’s not all glamorous shooting wedding formals, I had to share this ‘blooper’. If rain on the your wedding day is good luck, than seagull poop has to be GREAT luck!! ;)

Don’t forget to leave these two some love below!
A very special shout-out to my awesome second-shooter Ashley! I couldn’t have done it without you, thank-you for being such an amazing travel buddy/assistant/roomie for the week!!
